- The padding of the seat is made up of memory foam, which allows for both comfort and support for most babies.
- This seat is not gigantic, but will comfortably accommodate a child of up to 100 pounds.
- The head rest is very easy to use and to fit precisely to baby’s neck and head.
- The five point harness is easy to use and will work for children, as they grow, for longer than most of the competitive products. The harness can accommodate children weighing up to 65 pounds.
- Many children take great pleasure is stashing toys in the side storage holes of the seat, or the cup holder.
Cons:
- Some parents found the Nautilus seat to be excessively upright, even when the modest “tilt” feature was used, creating an unnatural seating position for baby, especially over long car rides. Baby’s head frequently tilts forward while sleeping in the car seat.
- The back pad, of the Nautilus Car Seat, has a large seam across the center (underneath the top cosmetic flap) which may be uncomfortable to some children over the course of a long car trip.
- This car seat only faces forward, and though it can accommodate a child as small as 20 pounds, it would be safer to wait until your child is over 1 year, and weighs at least 30-35 pounds, prior to putting him in a forward facing car seat.

I purchased the Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat for my 2 year old son. He loves this seat. He likes to hide his toys in the compartments of the seat, and then act like they are missing to trick Mommy and Daddy. That makes him laugh and laugh. He also really likes that I allow him to have his tippy cup in the car seat. I like that he will probably get at least two more years out of the seat with the added safety of the 5-point harness. I also like that the seat will convert to a booster seat to accommodate him as he grows. For our family, this product was a great buy.
