The Baby Cubes TM 2 Oz. Baby Food Storage Containers, by Juvenile Solutions, are a sets of 8 individual cube-shaped food storage containers, and a tray to hold them.  Each cube features a snap-closed lid, and is marked to show the safe fill level.  These cubes are ideal for keeping baby food fresh, either in the refrigerator, or freezer, and they are stackable.   Because these containers hold a single serving, one cube can be removed from the freezer and defrosted in the microwave.  These Baby Cubes contain no phthalates, BPA, or PVC, and they are both microwave and dishwasher safe.

Pros:

• These containers are dishwasher safe, so cleaning them is very easy.
• The lids are attached, so there is no need to spend time searching for the proper lid.
• These cube containers are the perfect size for freezing home-made baby food.
• Because these containers are microwave safe, they can be steam sanitized in the microwave.  This is a bit unique, as most baby dishes are not able to go in the microwave.
• Because the lids snap closed very securely (as long as not overfilled), they prevent freezer burn of the baby food.
• The Baby Cube containers are marked with measurements (in milliliters), so you know how much baby food your little one is consuming.
• These containers are free of phthalates, BPA, and PVC, which makes them safe to both heat and freeze, without the need for concern over chemicals leaching out of the plastic and into the baby food.
• The tray holds the containers, which makes it very easy to both fill them, and stack them in the freezer.

Cons:

• If the cubes are filled beyond the marking, there is a potential that they will open when placed in the freezer.  This can be easily avoided by not overfilling them.
• There is a risk that the containers can break if they are dropped on the floor when they contain frozen food.  This is a similar problem between most plastic food storage containers.  Simply be careful not to drop them.
• Some people find that the cubes do not fit very tightly in the tray, and that they tip over fairly easily.
• Some people find that these cubes do not seem to provide an air-tight, leak-proof seal, meaning if they are tipped over, there is a chance that they will leak.
