He was having trouble soothing himself to sleep. I attached the sheep to the outside of his crib, and for the first time was able to put him to bed in his own room. I used the 45 minute setting, and that seemed to do the trick. I do have to admit that some of the sounds are a little strange, but my son calmed right down to the ocean sounds. The night that I put the sleep sheep in his crib was the first time I was able to sleep for a whole 4 hours continuously since he was born! I really like everything about this toy.
