He initially loved the sounds and flashing lights. However, I was absolutely delighted when I realized that my oldest son, 3 years old at the time, also loved this toy. It was fun to watch both of them learn what buttons made which sounds. I think that my younger son must really like the harp sound, as that is the button that he is currently always pushing. It has now been 2 years and though my older son has recently lost interest, but this is still my little one's favorite toy. We have had to change the battery only once, and this Magic Cube is still going strong despite being dropped many times. This is a great toy that has provided many hours of enjoyment for my children.
